A retreat that made me feel seen, supported, and loved on...
I’ve followed Alicia Nicole and Safe Spaces for Black Women for the last five years, and I’ve always wanted to attend her signature event, The Relax, Release, Restore, Retreat. Something was always going on in my life, and the timing never worked out. This year I knew would be different, and I’m so glad I said yes.
I can’t say enough about Alicia’s signature curated luxury event for Black women. I felt seen. I felt supported. I felt loved on. I felt poured into. That means so much to me because I’m always the one making sure other people feel seen, supported, loved, and poured into.
Every part of the experience was done with care, and you could tell. From the wine tours to the amazing culinary experiences to candle making, nothing felt rushed or thrown together. Every moment, every encounter felt deliberate and intentional, including our solo time, which gave me space to do things that bring me joy.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I highly recommend this retreat to Black women who need an escape from the status quo and a reason to reconnect with themselves. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event.
